NATIONAL POLLINATOR WEEK
National Pollinator Week starts on June 21, 2021 and continues through June 27th. This is a time to recognize the importance of pollinators to our overall survival and quality of life, and to consider how YOU can take action to help our struggling pollinators:
- Ask your local government (City Council or Board of Supervisors) to issue a proclamation about Pollinator Week (sample proclamation here) to encourage conservation awareness.
- Plant a pollinator garden (a planter, pot, or patch)
- Avoid using pesticides
- Volunteer with a pollinator-supporting organization (like us!)
- Sign the Pollinator Protection Pledge
