Come join Conservation Works workshop on August 28, 2021 for an Introduction to Native Grasses in the Willits Watershed.

  • Learn about grasslands ecosystems, fire ecology, and the relationship of native grasses and climate change
  • Walk with a conservationist to view native grasses and see a post-fire habitat in recovery
  • Make “seed bombs” aiding native grasses propagation

All ages welcome. We will be walking uphill on a partially shaded fire road. Please wear comfortable shoes with a tread, sun-protective hat, and clothing. Bring your own snack and a water bottle.

Please Note: All in-person events follow current public health orders and guidelines for group activities to keep everyone safe during COVID-19. Masks and social distancing will be required for all participants.
