Community Restoration Days in the Otis. R. Johnson Wilderness Park in Fort Bragg

Does planting a redwood tree make you happy? Yes!

Conservation Works is partnering with neighbors near and far to plant redwoods, remove invasive acacia and ivy, conduct trail maintenance and pick up litter at the Otis R. Johnson Wilderness Park in Fort Bragg. On our first community restoration day in the park dozens of wonderful volunteers dug in, hands in the soil, to help plant redwood trees in the park.

Support for this project was provided by the Community Enrichment Grants Program of the Community Foundation of Mendocino County and through our partnership with the city of Fort Bragg
